KALTE.LV offers convection-type wood drying chambers with a capacity of 50 to 1000 m3/cycle for drying any type of wood with an operating temperature up to 97°C. They work with hot water, steam, thermal oil or direct gas heating.

Wood drying chambers are specially designed for installation in Latvian climatic conditions, they are characterized by high structural strength, high technology and precise selection of components.

It is especially important that the structures of the wood dryers we offer are industrially designed and manufactured using high-quality technologies that are not available to small, local manufacturers. Each connection is specially designed and tested.

►Exclusive, industrially produced load-bearing structures made of special aluminum alloys capable of withstanding the heaviest mechanical and thermal loads;

►A specially designed insulation system consisting of a double sheet of aluminum sandwiched between fire-resistant, resin-coated mineral wool, sealed to obtain a high degree of insulation that remains unchanged over time. Our standard technology has a special horizontal profile with double insulation to prevent thermal bridges. These profiles, placed at a distance of one meter from each other, significantly strengthen the entire structure and serve as a support for the insulating material. The outer wide-grooved aluminum sheet ensures ventilation air flow ("ventilated wall"), thus preventing condensation and maintaining constant mineral wool insulation properties over time;

►All components of the wood dryer are secured using only the highest quality stainless steel nuts and bolts;

►Wood dryers are equipped as standard equipment with aluminum, hydraulically lifting, sideways or sideways sliding, or folding doors;

►Inspection door with safety and anti-panic system and automatic closing;

►High performance reversible fans. It is also possible to install the exclusive ultra-high-efficiency fans (optional), also used in aeronautical applications, which not only provide excellent performance, but also provide significant energy savings. Motors are designed for continuous operation in high temperature and humid environments;

►High efficiency heat exchangers in bimetallic stainless steel/aluminum tube, standard version. Pipes, flanges and stainless steel manifolds. Motorized control valve included;

►Effective air humidification is provided by a double spray system with alternative operation, with pipes and nozzles made of stainless steel, a removable filter and a cleaning system with exhaust taps;

►Balanced removal of moist air and relative reintegration of fresh air is ensured by hatches of appropriate size, equipped with proportional servomotors, suitable for working in extreme weather conditions (from -40/50°C to +50°C) and protected against acid aggression with IP 66/ 67 protection.
