Kiln Heat Recovery system
The kiln recovery systems we offer can also be installed on kilns manufactured by other manufacturers.
The heat recovery (recovery) system of the wood dryer allows the warm air leaving the drying chamber to be used to heat the cold air coming from the surrounding environment. This allows you to save energy spent on heating the air in the wood drying chamber.
The system consists of a special air channel and a recovery device placed on the roof of the chamber: a heat recovery unit is installed on each pair of air exchange hatches (inlet and outlet) of the dryer.
Heat recuperators transfer heat from hot, moist air drawn from the chamber to cold, dry air supplied to the chamber. Using this passive exchange, compared to conventional chambers, approximately 25-35% of the heat that would normally be dissipated into the environment is saved. The reversible heat regenerator works equally efficiently regardless of the air flow direction.
Typical applications of heat recovery equipment:
►drying conifers with high initial humidity in countries with a cold climate;
►drying, if a higher temperature in the chamber than usual is required;
►if the boiler capacity may be insufficient to service the drying chambers;
►if there are high heat energy costs.
